Richard and the crew are back.
The story of Pied Piper will crack on.
After 3 critically accliamed seasons, Silicon Valley will return for a 4th season this spring according to the HBO.
The 10 episode extravaganza will kick off on April 23rd at 10pm Eastern Standard time.
A Mike Judge creation, Silicon Valley has been hailed as a brilliantly accurate hysterically funny depiction of the chaos within the San Francisco tech community.
The program is also a ground floor glimpse into the cut throat nature of the tech business, and the awesome power investors wieldover smaller startup companies.
Given that Judge also created Beavis and Butthead, as well as Office Space, Silicon’s valley’s stunning success is not an accident, and expectations will be sky high when the series picks back up again in April.
Season 3 left several huge questions that need to be answered.
Pied Piper is not owned by Urlich Bachman and Big Head of all people, how will that play out?
How will it affect the already strained relationship between Bachman and Richard?
What will become of Laurie, no way the hedge fund manager is going to allow herself to be outfoxed by the crew with no payback right?
The team will start season 4 right where they left off, back in the incubator, attempting to figure out the direction of their struggling company.
While it’s refreshing, and realistic to hammer home how difficult it is to start a successful company, keeping this team in the basement is going to get old after awhile.
At some point, we need to see them succeed.
