The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are set to return.

The remake of the hit televison program from the 90’s has returned with a brand new generation of butt kicking heros.

Leading the young cast, is Bryan Cranston, who will play the spirtual leader Zordon.

For many kids turned adults, there is intrigue to this film, and a younger generation of fans will be introduced to the Power Rangers for the first time.

Here is the plot summary from Lionsgate

“Five social outcasts are inexplicably brought together by coincidence or destiny to become Power Rangers, the latest generation in a long line of warriors. The world rests in their hands as Rita Repulsa, a powerful witch and a former Ranger, launches an assault with a army of stone golems called Putties and a giant golden monster named Goldar to claim a powerful artifact called the Zeo Crystal for her master, Lord Zedd.”

Power Rangers (billed as Saban’s Power Rangers)[3] is an upcoming 2017 American superhero film directed by Dean Israelite and written by John Gatins, Kieran Mulroney, Michele Mulroney, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. The film is based on the franchise of the same name, it stars Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Bill Hader, Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Banks.

The movie will be released in the United States on March 24, 2017.
