Kid Rock’s “I love black people” Facebook rant was ridiculous

From Wiki

Kid Rock has been attracting an unusual amount of political attention as of late, and it’s not a gimmick, active polticians are taking him seriously.

Kid Rock capped all the rumors last week with an emotional “campaign speech” at a house show in Grand Rapids Michigan.

Agree with him or not, the speech was tremendous theater, and within the madness, was coherent political commentary.

The “speech” engendered positive reviews from conservatives that are starting to lose faith in the President of the United States.

Kid Rock was clearly feeling the vibes, because he published an odd Facebook rant that was somewhat of a step backwards.

Perhaps he should hire a campaign manager.

The rant was one for the ages.

Here are the cliff notes

“P.S. Sam Riddle is a piece of shit criminal and prime example of a lot that is and has been wrong with Detroit. Sam, you suck and you know it! (If anyone does not know who he is, please Google him!)”

“P.P.S. To be clear – Fuck ANYONE who takes a knee or sits during our national anthem! Pretty sure if Russell Wilson or Tom Brady were doing it they would have no problem finding a job playing for any team they wanted in the NFL! So cut the bullshit!”

“I know I should probably not even have posted anything about these bottom feeders but I will always stand up for myself, my family, my friends, my fans, my city, my state, my country and the good in human nature!

P.P.P.P.P.S. I LOVE BLACK PEOPLE!!”

“I am however very disappointed that none of the people, businesses or charities I have so diligently supported in Detroit have had anything to say about all these unfounded attacks from these handful of jackasses and The Detroit Free Press.”

Kid Rock lashed out at critics of his politically charged “speech”, but within his rant is evidence that politics might not be the game for him. .

Kid Rock needs to understand that opposition comes with the territory in politics, not everyone is going to agree with you.

If he is this upset over honest and objective reporting, what will he do during the drama of a tight senate race?

The media glare is only going to going to grow.

If Kid Rock goes after a Congressional seat, he will be more scrutinized than he ever was during his legendary music career.

Kid Rock also made some questionable statements.

Attacking Al Sharpton with no reason for doing so is the equivalent of a racist dog whistle, most bigots will lament the existence of Al Sharpton when discussing race relations, it’s a low hanging African American fruit that allows bigots to quatify the extent of their racism.

Al Sharpton has his flaws, but he is become an annoying card that gets played all the time.

In so many words, some people would prefer black people remain quiet, that they not advocate, or be outspoken, despite the principles this country is built upon.

Kid Rock than dropped a doozy, stating that he loves black people, another odd clarification in a rant full of them.

Why in the world did he feel the need to publish that?

We know Kid Rock loves black people, he got his start in hip hop, employed a massive amount of African Americans when he hit it big.

Kid Rock grew up with African Americans in one of the toughest cities in the nation, but his behavior in the last week or so is raising questions.

When you combine the Al Sharpton jab, and then the statement that he “loves black people”, it’s diffcult to conclude who this man this.

Kid Rock raised more questions with his veiled jab at Colin Kaepernick, what is that all about?

Rock seems to believe that Kaepernick is out of the NFL because of merit, not politics, which is laughable if you take a good look at the backup quarterback position in the NFL.

Kaepernick was black balled from the NFL for social reasons, it had nothing to do with football, and anyone that argues otherwise does not know the NFL.

Again, Kaepernick is another low hanging African American fruit, bashing his social stand appeals to a certain base of Americans.

Kid Rock is embracing white identity politics, but he does not want to own it,    which is the same problem facing the President of the United States.

Kid Rock should get used to backlash, the last thing this country needs is another loud mouthed racist with power.
