Well you don’t see that everyday.
Citizens in Hanahan South Carolina recently took notice of a 5 foot orange alligator basking on the banks of a pond within community.
As far as we can tell, nature has never ever produced anything that looks like this.
Reasoning for such an occurence remain elusive, although one local naturalist chalked it up to the animal spending the winter in a “rusty steel pipe, and that the animal will most likely shed the orange skin”.
Either way, such a sighting is unprecedented.
