About a week ago a report surfaced at the Washington Post, a report that shook up Washington DC.
While the subject of the report was initially a mystery, the intrigue of who the subject could possibly be gave the story sensational traction.
“A current White House official has been identified as a person of interest by law enforcement investigating possible collusion between Russia and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, NBC News confirmed, citing two U.S. officials.
The person in question is a senior advisor in the White House and is close to the president, the Post reported, citing people familiar with the matter.”
“Who is it?” a report published on this site asked at the time, who is the senior advisor to the President that has been deemed a significant person of interest?
If the FBI regards you as a person of interest, that does not bode well for your future
The criminal and counter intelligence investigation into Russian meddling in the American election has embraced the Trump administration, and the fallout has been off the charts.
For the most part, many expected that staffers no longer with the Trump administration would be the focus of the investigation.
Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Carter Paige to name a few.
But as the story has unfolded, it’s active members of the Trump White House that are creating all these headlines, as well as the President himself.
Michael Flynn resigned for a number of reasons, he is most likely guility of a wide range of crimes, and pleaded the 5th as oppose to responding to Congressional subpoenas.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions twice misrepresented clandestine meetings he conducted with Russian officials, including his own confirmation hearing, which constitutes a felony.
The head law enforcement official in the country committed perjury, the story broke last night, and added to the laundry list of problems this administration is facing.
But the questions about Sessions and Flynn are months old, the report published by the WAPO newsroom raised new questions.
-person of interest is a "WH official"
– 3 officials had confirmed Russia contact
– 1 of them works at WH, Jared Kushner

Multiple Sources have concluded that Jared Kushner is the significant person of interest, and that his machinations have landed him at the center of the biggest political scandal in history.
Kushner, the husband of Ivanka Trump, has been somewhat of a mystery over these formative months.
He rarely makes public statements, but seems to have serious pull behind the scenes, and the ear of the President.
Sources have indicated that it was Kushner who encouraged President Trump to fire FBI director James Comey, and this is with no official notice, and no plan of action in place.
Kushner must have realized that the White House would come under siege for such a move, but he still pushed for it anyway.
Kushner is an accomplished businessman, a savant of finance, why would he be so eager to engage in such a dangerous move?
If Jared Kushner is the one under investigation, it makes his advice to fire James Comey a HUGE deal. https://t.co/mFYsflzHXy

If Kusher is the person of interest, his role in the firing of Comey makes more and more sense.
What exactly Kushner has done to land himself in this position is a matter of speculation, it has been reported that he was expected to testify in front of Congress over his documented contacts with Russian officials, and other concerns that people have about his business relationships.
Kushner has made a substantial amount of money in his private life, the possibilities as to why he could be looking at federal indictments is practically limitless.
If the feds are going to get to Trump, Jared Kushner would be fastest way to get his attention, the FBI would not leak such a report unless they already had serious leverage.
The report was meant to create pressure, and its working.
Kushner took his spokesperson with him on Trump’s foreign trip, which was odd enough, but then cut the trip short, and scurried back to Washington DC with his wife for reasons that are still unknown.
Jared Kushner’s role in this scandal is worthy of examination, not only by the FBI, but the media, and the citizens.
He has received a pass for staying silent while this storm swirls around the White House, as has his wife.
They can interact with foreign dignitaries, and make major policy decisions, but when the Trump Presidency is on wobbly legs, these two are nowhere to be found.
Has anyone even heard Kusner or Ivanka utter a word about the Russian investigation, or the Trump administrations involvement in it?
Does that make sense?
We are more likely to see Ivanka promoting her book than answering serious questions about what is going on in that White House.
We are more likely to hear about Kushner’s agents offering Chinese citizens Visa’s for $200,000, then him getting in front of a camera and explaining his contact with Russian officials.
They have both received a pass, but that could be coming to a swift end if the rumors floating around the Washington DC are true.
Two hours after we initially filed this story, the following information hit the newswire, Tastie Fish was unaware of the following development at the time we published our story.
From NBC News
Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and one of his senior advisers, has come under FBI scrutiny in the Russia investigation, multiple U.S. officials told NBC News.
Investigators believe Kushner has significant information relevant to their inquiry, officials said. That does not mean they suspect him of a crime or intend to charge him.
Kushner is not subject to criminal scrutiny at this time, but he is in possession of information, and unless he turns it over, he will be pressured to cooperate.
