Earlier today the respected publication McClatchym published an eye opening report regarding Donald Trump’s possible ties to Russia.
According to the report, the “FBI, the CIA, the National Security Agency, the Justice Department, the Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network and representatives of the director of national intelligence, the sources said have been investigating Trump’s Russian ties for months.”

A joint task force, and they are particularly interested in Trump’s campaign finances, along with other explosive allegations that have sprouted up in wake of an unverified dossier that implicates Trump in an international conspiracy.
Among the more important details in the report, is the confirmation that the FBI did indeed secure a warrant from the high powered Intelligence Surveillance Court on October 15th of last year.
The warrant is massive, because an unverified dossier would not have been enough to have it granted.
“The BBC reported that the FBI had obtained a warrant on Oct. 15 from the highly secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court allowing investigators access to bank records and other documents about potential payments and money transfers related to Russia. One of McClatchy’s sources confirmed the report.
Susan Hennessey, a former attorney for the National Security Agency who is now a fellow at the Brookings Institution.
She said such warrants were issued only if investigators could establish “probable cause” that the target was a foreign power or its agent and that the surveillance was likely to produce foreign intelligence.
“If, in fact, law enforcement has obtained a FISA warrant, that is an indication that additional evidence exists outside of the dossier”
The report also starts to clear the fog, and paint a picture of how Russia may have pulled this off with Trump in tow.
The FBI is investigating the possibility that Russia financed hackers that were actually living in the United States, and using “thousands of Russian American pensioners to funnel cash” to the concerned operatives.
Such a wide spread operation, if confirmed, is an act of war against the United States.
According to the report, the US learned that Russia had planned to meddle in the US election about a year ago, and jump started its investigation shortly thereafter.
President Elect Trump meanwhile has been brutal to the intelligence community, he has questioned the character, and the integrity of the organizations that are charged with our security.
It’s brazen, because they are tearing his life apart, and they clearly have evidence.
As of now, even without further evidence, Donald Trump should be impeached, and the joint task force could work with Congress to get to the bottom of this.
The soul of our nation is at stake, the stakes are too high to take any chances.
I loathe Trump’s divisive brand of politics, I find his views on minorities, immigrants, women, and anyone else that isn’t a working class white man or in the top 1% to be despicable.
All that said.
I would have accepted him as President of the United States because that is what our electoral process has dictated.
Mid terms are two years away, he is 74 years old, this won’t be the way of things forever.
But the dossier, Trump’s shady reaction at his lone press conference, the public statements coming out of the Kremlin, and the confirmation that an active investigation into Trump’s ties to Russia are bearing fruit are enough for me to call for impeachment proceedings.

There is some fire with all this smoke, the American people must be assured that the sitting President of the United States isnt a traitor.
The only way to be sure of that, is to impeach him.
Now remember everyone, being impeached, and being removed from office are two different things.
There still would have to be a vote to remove him from office, but it would be a no brainer if he is in bed with Vladimir Putin.
Bill Clinton was impeached, but not removed from office.
But through the impeachment proceedings, Trump will be made to answer to the highest court in the land, and the transparency will give comfort to Americans who are sick of all the cloak and dagger.
Trump can be sworn in, he can make moves as President of the United States, whatever he wants, but this has to happen.
We have six security agencies, a Senate intelligence Committee, and an army of reporters investigating a President Elect’s ties to a hostile power.
Whatever the standard for inistigating impeachment proceedings was before Trump, he has gone beyond it.
It’s likely that the investigators are being extremely cautious about all of this, which is why they are being so meticulous and secretive.
They could be on the verge of the biggest scandal we have ever seen, information that could take this country to a place it’s never been.
If it is confirmed, if this really happened, Trump will not only be removed from office, he will face criminal prosecution, and last time I checked, the penalty for being a traitor to the United States, or committing an act of sedition, carries serious penalties.
Lets all hope Trump’s Presidency gets off to a peaceful start this weekend, but lets remember, the second he is sworn in, a big black cloud will appear over the White House.
He cannot run from this problem, and the constitution will not allow him to erase it.
One way or the other, we are going to find out what happened, and to ensure that, we have to impeach him.
