The dazzling “District” plays host to the ECIC summer showcase

A massive contingent of investors, entrepreneurs, politicians, and tech innovators gathered at the sensational district, a co-working space on James Street in the east rock neighborhood of New Haven.

Designed as an open house of innovation, the showcase featured over 14 companies that have been funded by the ECIC, in wake of New Haven being a recipient of the Innovation Places Award.

The man who wrote legislation that eventually produced the Innovation Places Grant was on hand as well.

The cavernous District dazzled during the summit, the incubator was as beautiful as the Mona Lisa, and as cool as Dr Dre.

The District feature a full service gym, sparkling conference rooms, and multi use kitchens that look like they are out of a catalog.

The energy at the District is vibrant, progressive, the perfect home for some of the most brilliant minds on the planet.

The event was a star studded affair

CT Next, CT innovations, Senator Martin Looney, Roland Lemar from the House of Representatives, Matthew Storeygard from CT Innovations, Margaret Lee from Collab New Haven, Christina Kane and Slate Ballard from the Grove co-working space, JR Logan from Make Haven, it truly was a high profile collection of innovation.

Sources within the administration of the District tell Tastie Fish there still is space available within the building, but it’s going fast, and any innovators in the city of New Haven that are interested in applying need to hurry up.

From Tastie Fish

The District is glorious, a fine addition to a city bubbling with ideas.
