“House of Cards” star Kevin Spacey is under serious heat after news that he made a sexual advance to a 14 year old boy in the 80’s became public.
That 14 year old grew up to be Anthony Rapp, who was the subject of a bombshell Buzzfeed article this weekend.
“In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Rapp is publicly alleging for the first time that in 1986, Spacey befriended Rapp while they both performed on Broadway shows, invited Rapp over to his apartment for a party, and, at the end of the night, picked Rapp up, placed him on his bed, and climbed on top of him, making a sexual advance. According to public records, Spacey was 26. Rapp was 14”.

Spacey has since apologized, but his plea seemed to fall on deaf ears.
The story got even more controversial when Spacey came out of the closet as an openly gay man in the midst of his “apology”.
It’s sad that Spacey would face any backlash whatsoever over coming out as gay, but this is indeed a unique situation.
“The worst kept secret in Hollywood” an industry insider tells Tastie Fish.
Declaring sexuality is usually a moment of release, happiness, but the situation has been very unpleasant for Spacey.
Some in Hollywood believe that Spacey is announcing his sexuality as an overt attempt to distract from the allegations against him.
It’s sickening that Kevin Spacey would try to spin an apology for assault into a coming out story. Do not use being LGBT as a shield.

Only Kevin Spacey can speak to his actual agenda as it pertains to this announcement, but the disturbing story spun by Buzzfeed sunday night gives the impression this was not Mr. Spacey’s first walk in the park.
Netflix responded Monday evening by canceling the super popular “House of Cards”.
“The show will end after the 6th season” the company said in a statement.
Studio executives claim this move was already planned, but given the firestorm surrounding Spacey, it’s difficult to believe that this move was not prompted by Buzzfeed’s story.
